We collect as little as possible — basically enough to save your progress and keep the games running. We don't sell your data, we don't run ad networks, and we don't track you around the internet. The full detail is below.
Shortwave Games ("Shortwave", "we", "us") makes text adventure games that run as mini apps inside Telegram. This policy explains what information we handle when you play, and how. Questions are welcome at [email protected].
When you open one of our games inside Telegram, we receive a limited set of information so the game can function:
We do not collect your contacts, your messages, your location, or your browsing activity outside our games.
We use the information above only to:
We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, and we never sell it.
Our games are free. If you choose to leave an optional tip, the payment is processed through Telegram's own payment system and its payment providers. We receive confirmation that a tip was made, but we do not see or store your full card details.
We share data only with service providers who help us run the games — for example, the hosting and database services that store your saved progress. These providers act on our instructions and are bound to protect your data. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Because our games run inside Telegram, your use is also subject to Telegram's own Privacy Policy. Shortwave is not affiliated with or endorsed by Telegram.
We keep your saved progress for as long as you continue to play, so your stories are waiting for you. If you ask us to delete your data, or stop playing for an extended period, we remove it. You can request deletion at any time — see below.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the information we hold about you. To do any of these, message us at [email protected] or on Telegram, and we'll take care of it.
Our games are written for older teens and adults and are not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, note it within the games. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the revised policy.
